protests in cairo, egypt. protesters are gathering there for a massive demonstration against president mohammed morsy. it was less than a week ago he was hailed as a hero for helping broker a cease-fire but just days later he surprised everyone by awarding himself sweeping new powers back home in egypt. that triggered a wave of violence in the streets. he says the new powers are authori authoritarian. overnight protesters clashed with police. a handful of protesters throwing rocks at authorities who responded with tear gas. so far two are dead, more than 500 injured, including at least 160 policemen. >>> meantime, laura, in the west bank a very interesting story here. scientists right now studying the remains of the late palestinian leader yasser arafat. forensic experts are looking for more clues on the exact cause of his death. arafat died back in 2004 after suddenly becoming ill on what was initially believed to be caused by a stroke. now, this investigation was sparked over findings of radioactive material on his clothes. some believe he may have been poisoned. many palestinians be
